(New York, NY) - Monday, December 9, 2024, the New York City Council and Public Advocate Jumaane Williams filed a lawsuit – with the #HALTsolitary Campaign & Jails Action Coalition, represented by the Cardozo Civil Rights Clinic, as well as public defender offices, and the New York Civil Liberties Union.
